Sparring With a Fellow Student (Open)

Kaito arrived at the training grounds ready to spar with his new found sparring partner, but first he would need to rest for a second to catch his breathe for the fact he used up a lot of his strength on that run. Kaito thought to himself, 'Why did I do that. I just tired myself out and now I can't spar right off the bat.' Kaito stopped for a moment and began to catch his breathe and prepare himself to spar.

Kaito would nicely sit on the ground catching his breathe and calmly calculating the area memorizing it. Kaito could see around that the training ground was an open circle in about 500 meters in diameter with thick trees and bushes surrounding it making it so you couldn't really logically go through it with out extreme difficulty. Kaito continued to study the surroundings seeing the small stream maybe about 30 meters wide going through about the middle of the of the training ground with gates on both sides so people don't wander around to much. The stream was slightly angled away from where Kaito was sitting on the left side. Kaito finally looked as he noticed five large boulders scattered around one in the center of the stream with the rest about 25 meters from the center one aligned perfectly with the stream so that it makes a square.

Kaito continued to rest waiting for Sasme to arrive who should be there in a matter of seconds he would hope.

[ENTRANCE THREAD]

Following shortly behind Kaito, Sasme arrived in the large training ground noticing immediately that, Kaito had beaten him to the training grounds. However the difference between his arrival and Kaito's was the exhaustion that the run had caused Kaito, and Sasme had been barely affected by it, other than a bit of sweat running down his forehead thanks to the warm sun beating down on him. After entering the training ground he simply walked over to Kaito, and laughed a bit, "Ha, are you worn out already?"

Crossing his arms, he leaned back a bit, and simply looked at Kaito, "So are you ready, for some training or are too tired from that little jog?" Sasme thought it would be funny just to poke at Kaito a bit before they began to spar, a little rest would be nice for him as well, he hadn't been drained much from the run, but it would be better to start from full rest, for a good spar. They were not in any hurry of course so Sasme decided to just drop down on the ground and rest for a moment as he waited for Kaito.

Kaito smiled as he heard Sasme making fun of the fact he was already warn out by the run, but thanks to this Kaito could see that Sasme had a lot of stamina as well as strength. Kaito had use these things to measure up Sasme with out him even noticing more than likely. Kaito could easily see that after the impact they had a bit ago now thinking on it that he probably had a lot of constitution as well meaning this guy was a lot stronger than he may look. A few hits from Kaito was not about to do it in a spar with this guy.

Kaito smiled as he listen to Sasme poke fun at him knowing that he was messing around. Sasme then plopped down by Kaito ready to rest up a bit as well it would seem.

Kaito smiled and slightly giggled as he would turn to Sasme realizing a lot of his strengths already knowing that he would be more than just a hand full for himself in a spar. "So I guess we will rest for a second and get ready for a good spar then." Kaito leaned back and start to rest up memorizing the land scape and the area to suit to his strengths.

Sasme nodded to Kaito after he mentioned resting for a few moments before they begun their spar, taking a few more relaxing breaths Sasme flipped back up to his feet. Smiling brightly and crookedly with some excitement from the oncoming events, it had been a while since he had been able to go one on one with someone, months actually. After flipping back up on his feet, Sasme wrapped some bandages around his fists, and readied himself, his hands were still very sore from the previous days morning work out. He didn't want Kaito, to know how hard he pushed himself, he'd already been to a psychologist in the Academy about his work ethic saying that he shouldn't work his body so hard.

Escaping the train of thought, Sasme began to throw quick shadow punches into the air, trying to warm up his body and get ready for the spar. He was trying to decided on what would be the best type of training for his focus to remain on during the spar, after some careful thought he decided, Speed, would be his main concentration throughout the spar. His other weaknesses being class room or book oriented he decided to get what weakness he had worked on while he was training.

"Ding Ding Ding, Time for round one." A devious looking smile crept up on Sasme's face, he always loved to spar, it was always his favorite type of training. He learned more about his opponent, and it was a fun way of learning your limits and how to pass them.

Kaito smiled as he watched his sparring partner flip up to his feet ready and rearing to go. Kaito was fully ready after that rest ready to go. Kaito was not one of the strongest shinobis, but he was very smart and very agile. Kaito knew these were his advantages as well as his wisdom and intelligence so he needed to work to his strengths.

All the sudden Sasme said openly "Ding Ding Ding, Time for round one." Kaito would smirk hearing him do this knowing he was ready to go.

Kaito stude up nice and calmly ready to go when his sparring partner was. Kaito would slowly moved away from him to stand in front of him ready for a straight up spar. Kaito readied himself starting a basic stance seeing what may happen next. waiting for his partner to make the first move.

Once Kaito, appeared ready, Sasme popped forward quickly, immediately going half his full speed leg reared back ready to unleash full force right into the side of his opponent. Now that sparring had begun Sasme was all business, something that Kaito, would recognize immediately, and unfortunately Sasme doesn't pull punches. Mid-way through his dash, Sasme realized that Kaito was faster then him, but not by much, though he wasn't much of a strategist, he had to start formulating a plan or he was going to waste a lot of energy.

Kaito carefully watched on knowing that Sasme was moving at least half speed, but was placing all his strength into his attack. Kaito new this was not good measuring his strength early on. Kaito didn't want to tire himself by dodging multiple times knowing it wouldn't ware Sasme down very quickly. So Kaito knew there wasn't much he could do, but he had to think on his toes and thinking strategically. Kaito knew he needed to get closer to the boulders so as Sasme dashed forward Kaito would shift his stance to better prepare himself and shift slightly as his strike would come in for impact.

Kaito moved about one fourth his normal speed as he came in which would not be much difference than Sasme's speed. As Kaito did this he began to push off and block Sasme's kick not letting a full impact happen, but the still hit him doing about half normal damage than what would normally would happen.

Kaito would be knock to the side, but not taking a full hit made him able to take the damage and get closer to the rock as he planned.

After his initial kick had better connected with Kaito's blocking arm, he noticed that he had still been kicked away by the powerful force of the hit. After taking a moment to realize how much damage he seemed able to do after one barely scraping hit, he grinned a bit. Having barely used any stamina he was still up and ready to go watching the form of Kaito move closer to the boulders off to the side. Realizing that, he needed to start planning since, he was not really familiar with the terrain, and that Kaito was, he needed to be extra careful.

Standing straight back up and looking towards, Kaito he called out to him, half taunting and half cautiousness, "Aye, Kaito, you feeling alright?" Taking a few steps closer getting ready for another charge, he yelled out again, "Didn't mean to surprise ya by coming at you so hard, figured you'd do the same, any advantage you can get helps in the life of a Shinobi, eh?"

Kaito now closer to the boulder as planned and his calculations were right on how much damage he would take. Kaito was now ready to prepare himself for the Sasme's next powerful attack. Kaito would smile as Sasme shouted out, "Aye, Kaito, you feeling alright?" Kaito smirked and nodded to Sasme as he watched him take a couple of steps preparing for another attack it would seem.

Kaito moved in closer to the boulder as he prepared his stance once again readying himself for another attack. Kaito knew he could not stand up to this guys strength and knew he could not stand up to this guys over all stamina.

Kaito was still fresh out of the Academy and hand not learned many jutsus and knew he would have a had time with this, but he had to do something by the time Sasme would attack next.

Watching the way, Kaito, was moving he realized that hard hit to his arm may have rendered it pretty weak, the hard shock of the hit, probably was more than what he had experienced from the Academy spars. Noticing this detail, Sasme decided that he wasn't going to immediately charge in for an immediate knock out hit, he wasn't about to waste all the time warming up and taking his time to focus on a particular aspect of his training just to end as soon as it's begun. Taking a moment to think he decided to change tactics to work on the very thing he came out their to do, work on his speed. It wouldn't be very fun for his body, but it needed to be done.

Exhaling sharply he kicked up a cloud of dust before taking a full sprint towards the boulders right towards Kaito, immediately after reaching him he kicked off the ground sending himself airborne on to one of the boulders. After landing, he sent a rubber shuriken his way, obviously not a threat, but it was training, so everything would help. After throwing the weapon he held his guard and waited for Kaito's reaction.

Kaito watched on as Sasme would take in a deep breathe collecting himself it would appear. Kaito would realize that he was planning on changing tactics and Kaito now knows he needs to do the same. Kaito keep watch as he would kick up a could of dust now sprinting right at Kaito with full speed. Kaito was ready to take him head on this time. Kaito watched on bracing himself once again ready to side step and block to take another hit, but once Sasme reached close enough to hit Kaito he immediately jumped into the air. Kaito watched on as Sasme flew through the air towards the boulder left of the boulder Kaito is next too.

Kaito continued to watch on as Sasme landed on the boulder throwing what appeared to be a shuriken. Kaito knew he needed to avoid the shuriken, but a thought acquired to him that he could use his already injured arm to block it even though it would cause more damage. Kaito moved towards the shuriken using his injured arm to block it, yet to his surprise the shuriken merely bounced off not causing any damage. Kaito moved in for close range combat even though doing so could get him knocked out, but he needed to push himself. Kaito moved at one fourth his best speed moving directly at Sasme ready to go all out.

(Remember Sasme don't use tools or weapons you have not bought. That one is fine just no more after that.)

Sasme smiled a bit, at the tactic, it was clever, he knew that, Kaito could have easy dodged the shuriken, Sasme, had not really been known as the best weapon thrower. To take the hit though had played out good for Kaito, instead of wasting energy to dodge it or block it with another weapon he took the hit, surprising Sasme, which then left him shocked when Kaito charged forward. Losing a second of thinking due to his surprise Kaito had arrived just in front of him ready to duke it out for the final part of the spar.

Personally Sasme preferred up close combat, but he didn't want to seriously injure his arm, he'd make sure to change tactics to lighten up his strength on his hits and work on carefully placing his hits. He knew however that Kaito had a small advantage on him, due to his shock, he was however excited from the situation and the combat. He loved fighting, it really got his blood flowing, and it was a way to push his body to its physical limits.

Kaito rushed in to combat coming at Sasme with one fourth his normal speed to start of with. Kaito knew he caught Sasme off guard with his tactic and decided this would be the best time to spring his next move on him. Kaito quickly did three extremely quick hand seals and all the sudden Kaito began to split apart it would appear making multiple of himself. Kaito had created clones of himself and was ready to take Sasme on with full force. Kaito quickly moved in now nearly at Sasme ready with two clones and himself.

Kaito and the clones appearing to move at different speeds began to move rapidly towards Same with the clone on the left and the right moving in front of the clone in the middle slightly. The clone on the left jumped at Sasme doing a flip appearing to prepare for a heel drop kick. The next clone from the right came in and jumped at him nearly the same way except from the opposite side and going for a side kick heading for the side of his head.

Finally with an intense boost of speed moving at full speed now Kaito bursting through both his clones causing a cloud of smoke around Sasme using them and the cloud as merely a diversion taken to hide what he was planning. Kaito moving at intense speed and motion now, he went in for his attack against Sasme with a simple side slash to Sasme jugular vain, but right before what would look like to be a chance of impact, Kaito stopped knowing he was running low on stamina now and also not wanting to actually physically hurt is sparring partner. Kaito held back his attack and just froze there with his hand near Sasme's throat waiting for the smoke to clear knowing that more than like Sasme would not of for seen this coming and how to judge which clone was the was fake.

Finally regaining his composure he watched as Kaito preformed a basic bunshin, however with the burst of smoke, he didn't realize, which was which. Deciding he needed to react quickly, he knew he wouldn't be able to take a chance just going after one leaving himself vulnerable, but he couldn't take on all three accurately. Once he noticed all three of the clones had converged on him, he waited just a moment longer letting them get closer to him. Once he noticed a burst of speed from them he decided now would be the time to react.

Dropping down onto his back, he spun swiftly leaving his legs loose into the air hoping to counter the trio coming after him, he knew it was a weak defensive but it was the quickest thing he could think of. Unfortunately as soon as he begun his spinning defensive, the two clones poofed and became a smokescreen for the real Kaito, who's charging offensive instead of making contact with his head, connected to his leg. His foot however had missed Kaito's hand meaning that his hand had landed on the broad side of his leg sending both boys flying in different directions.

Having already been on the ground, he flew back wards rolling on the ground backwards bumping his head repeatedly, and landing flat on his face. "Owww" After a moment of laying on the ground he rose his head up looking to see where Kaito had landed, which he had hoped was similar to his own position flat on the ground somewhere, so that the fight could end. They needed to talk about each other's tactics and see how they could improve.

Kaito was surprised by what would be fall him for the fact instead of beating out Sasme to the punch Sasme decided to take an offensive tactic to defend himself. Instead of striking and stopping at Sasme throat; Sasme kicked wildly into the cloud striking Kaito's hand with his leg sending him to the ground from the imbalance and Sending Kaito back from the impact.

Kaito had tried to strike Sasme with his good arm to have a full strength hit with it, but in the end Kaito just ended up getting it injured as well. Kaito tired from the attack dropped down immediately near Sasme knowing he over exerted himself this time. Kaito would look around towards Sasme seeing him on the ground flat on his face. Kaito couldn't help, but giggle seeing Sasme like that. Sasme then looked up after a moment of being on the ground now looking Sasme eye to eye.

Kaito smiled began to laugh out loud even though he was in pain from the fight he couldn't help, but laugh out loud about the funny circumstance. Kaito keep on smiling and began to speak to Sasme, "Okay I think we should just call this a draw for now and maybe talk about it and see what we could do better. Plus it would give me a chance to rest up and get ready for round two when we get the chance or we could go and get some ramen." Kaito just smiled waiting for Sasme's reply.

Laughing as well Sasme smiled at the thought of food, "Ramen sounds good to me! I'm starving." Pushing himself off the ground he wiped the dirt off his shirt and extended a hand out to Kaito as well, "Would you like a hand? Haha." The sun which had been up for a while now, and had now begun to sink towards the other side of the sky leaving an orange hue covering the western part of the sky, and darkening the eastern side.

Looking down towards his sleeve he noticed that, he had been torn pretty cleanly and his jacket had been ripped across the side. Sighing, he pulled his jacket off and tossed it over his opposite shoulder, and re extended his hand back out to Kaito, to help him up off the ground, knowing that both his arms were likely hurt and sore. "How are your arms feeling eh?"

Kaito listened to Sasme reply back to him saying, "Ramen sounds good to me! I'm starving." Kaito was also very hungry himself and was ready to rest up and maybe talk things over a good hot bowl of ramen. Kaito watched on as Sasme got up off the ground wiping off the dirt from his shirt and extended a hand out to Kaito to help him out as Sasme said to Kaito, "Would you like a hand?" Laughing after saying it.

Kaito watched on as the sun began to drop down from one side of the sky to the other begining to drop even further down from the sky. Off in the distance Kaito could see clouds coming starting to darken the sky as if a storm was rolling in ready to rain over the good village of Konohagakure. Kaito could see the colors of the sun and the clouds mix in with each other giving off an orange hue covering the sky reaching a much darker region of the sky darkening everything around it as if night began to fall on the other side of the world.

Kaito not paying attention now looking on to the sky seeing its glory and the on coming storm, Sasme would look down to his jacket noticing it got torn during our spar. Sasme sighed as he pulled off his jacket tossing it over his shoulder. Sasme then extended his arm out to Kaito again ready to help him up knowing that Kaito more than likely injured his arms during the fight. As he re extended out his arm to help Kaito out he said to him, "How are your arms feeling eh?"

Once Sasme spoke those words Kaito began to pay attention again and smiled and said back to him, "Yeah it will be fine. A good bowl of ramen and some rest will do me some good." Kaito reached out grabbing Sasme's arm ready for the help to get up knowing that he really didn't have the strength right then to pick himself up off the ground. As Kaito grabbed Sasme's arm he felt the strain he had put on his arm from the fight feeling the stinging pain of the strike that just happened moments ago. Kaito's arm was damaged far worse than hea had originally planned and knew he would need some extra rest before sparring again as well as some training on his own to strengthen his own self.

Kaito then gripped a hold of Sasme's arm tighter trying to keep his composer through the pain knowing he need to not seem weak even though Kaito was sure Sasme could see that he was a lot stronger than himself was. As Sasme would pull him up Kaito would feel more pain in his arm saying as he was pulled up, "Ouch." It was a light ouch, but it was still easily heard showing how much damage he really took after getting hurt like he did.

Once Kaito was up on his feet he started to rub his arm from the pain. Knowing that Sasme could see that he was more hurt than he was trying to let on Kaito turned and looked out to Sasme saying to him, "I will be fine, how about we just go and get some ramen and we talk about our spar." Kaito would just look on to Sasme awaiting his reply.

Nodding, he turned around jacket draped over his shoulder and began to walk towards the exit of the training ground through the gate they had come through earlier. Surprisingly, Sasme seemed completely relaxed and aside from the dirt on his clothes relatively unscathed. Seems his body was even tougher then he thought it was, which caused Sasme to smile with excitement. Being as strong as he was and as resilient to have barely been hurt in a spar with an equal opponent had Sasme a little bit more excited then before.

As he began to walk towards the exit he had also begun to notice that the sky had been significantly clouded by what looked like some pretty thick rain clouds. "Aye, Kaito looks like we better move it unless you wanna get drenched in all of this rain." Personally Sasme didn't mind, he enjoyed the rain, it was a way of cooling off his entire body, and something about a cool summer rain just relaxed him, and calmed him down. Motioning one more time for his sparring partner he took a few steps past the gate and waited for him so they could go on.

Kaito watched on as Sasme nodded to him letting him know that he was ready to go. Kaito watched on as he waited for a moment to regain some more strength to head on out with Sasme. Sasme had already begun to walk away heading out of the training grounds as Kaito continued to regain his strength back a bit.

As Sasme walked away he would notice the sky himself and see the clouds off in the distance. Sasme then said to Kaito, “Aye, Kaito looks like we better move it unless you wanna get drenched in all of this rain.” Kaito looked at Sasme now ready to start going himself and walked with a quickened pace towards the exit. Kaito didn’t want to get rained on just yet, but he did enjoy the rain. It was just something about a cool refreshing rain that really took away any aches and pains he might have.

Kaito would continue to walk towards the exit after Sasme passed through it and began to signal to Kaito to come on waiting just a few steps past the gate. Kaito walked on wiping off the dirt from his clothes looking at Sasme as he signaled to him to come on. Kaito said to Sasme, “I am coming I am coming.” Kaito would walk through the gate walking past Sasme ready to lead the way to his favorite ramen shop to grab a bite and rest up some more.
