Inner Forest of the Training Grounds (Open)

Smiling shyly, Katara answered Kaito's question. "You're right. I'm not from here. I'm orriginally from Kirigakure, Hidden mist." Katara flinches, expecting to get hit. Nothing happens. 'He's so nice.' Katara thinks. 'I wonder if he'd be friends with me?' "May I join you?" Katara asks, for it's been a while since she has trained. 'I just hope he doesn't expect much. I'm horrible'. Looking up at the forest canopy, Katara asks "does it always rain here?" Her clothes were soaked, and she was cold. "If you're hungry, I brought food. Would you like some?" Katara asks, bringing out a sandwich and a canteen of water. She holds them out, to see if Kaito would take them.

Jojo had leaned against a tree and was resting promptly due to how much exhaustion she had acquired. She noted the new girl who was here as Jojo would smile and say with a calm reply, probably breaking some ice, "I am Hanakora, Jojo. It is nice to meet you." She held her caring smile steadily as she coughed a bit though when she did cough it was a small bit of blood. It was normal for her to do this though she hid the blood effectively by wiping the ground with the coughed on hand. She would need to remember not to do so much of that in front of these two, they may get worried. "You say you are from the Hidden Mist. What is it like there? Anything different than it is here?" Jojo would ask with a calm wanting of knowledge.

Kaito just smiled as she said that she was originally from the village hidden in the mist. It was most diffidently a surprise some one from there moving here, but no matter what if she was allowed to move here than she was more than welcome to in Kaito’s eyes.

Kaito just continued to smile as Jojo would finally say something introducing herself kind of out of the blue as she leaned against a tree resting up after their brawl. Jojo would cough a little after she spoke wiping whatever it might have been that she coughed out on to the ground.

As Jojo would wipe here hand on the ground Katara would ask nicely if she could join Kaito in some training. Kaito just smiled and replied back to her, “I would love to, but I need to rest up a bit more before going at it again.” As he said that Kaito would smile and sit back down in the mud and just sigh a little in relaxation. As he sat back down Katara looked up in the canopy of the trees and asked him if it had always rained like this here. Kaito just smiled like he had been and replied back to her, “Not really just one of those days that it rains giving a refreshing drink to the world.” Kaito jestered to Katara to come on over and take a seat next to him, as he did she would ask him if he was hungry and if he would like some food to eat. Kaito shook his head no saying to her, “No thank you I ate not to long ago with Jojo over there.” As he finished his sentence Jojo would quickly ask Katara what it was like in the hidden mist village and if there was anything different there.

Kaito just shook his head seeing how interested Jojo was in the fact of where she was from. Kaito himself was more interested in Katara than where she was from so he would ask her, “Would you like to join us in another training session after we rest up a bit and visit the equipment shop because I need to pick up some equipment.” Kaito would just wait until she answered the questions that were thrown at here from all directions from Kaito and Jojo so Kaito new it was best to just wait.

'They are so friendly' Katara thought to herself. Sitting down where Kaito had gestured, Katara answered Jojo's question with contempt, "Yes, it is quite different. It rains a lot, and it's practically surrounded by water. Not to mention the fact it's always foggy" She hated the Mist village. She liked it here in the Leaf, and she never wanted to leave. "I would love to train with you another time, if you want. May I come with you to the equipment store? I haven't seen much of the village" She looks down blushing continuing in a mutter "The rest of the villagers look at me weird, which is why I don't go out often."
Looking up, Katara suddenly starts to cry. "Why are you so nice to me? I'm from the Hidden Mist! Another village! Don't you hate me?!? My sister and I went to several other villages, and they never liked us!" Looking back at the ground, Katara continues to cry, the tears flowing steadily down her face. "Do you want to know why I am here?" Katara asks, looking up at Jojo and Kaito. "Do you want to know why I am not back at the Mist, and here instead?" She waits for them to answer.

Jojo listened intently, a place surrounded by water yet there was always fog. No flowers would grow of the Hanakora in a place like that. Jojo would bow her head lightly and then with a slight struggle she would crawl over in a way and hug the girl with soft arms. Jojo muttered with words of confidence as if she were a mother, "Your reasons to be here are your own, your past is your own. Both of which you will not be judged for while you are here. Even if you are different from others you are still a shinobi of the leaf and that makes no difference of your background. Katara, you are one who has suffered in your life and I see this in you, but you wanna know what you have that some other shinobi don't?"

Jojo would await for that part to sink in. Her comforting words were that of an untold wisdom as it were and she personally loved the ability to care for someone that she barely knew. She hugged this girl and said, "It's courage. Courage to leave a place you find fiendish and search for a new home with your sister. I find that to be a trait that you alone have and others do not. Believe in yourself and you will go miles, disregard the bad and you will gain friends. Learn from the past and you will become stronger in mind and spirit." She would let the hug go to look in the eyes of the girl, "You are you and that is all that matters."

Life as it was, was always something to cherish and she knew the spite for a nation within one's eyes. Such a life as this was one she could always cherish and for that she had done what she could to comfort one who was weakened by her own spirit. Perhaps a friendship could blossom but like a flower the roots will need to strongly hold tight against the wreckage against the world. That was all they needed in this world and for that they would enjoy their lives in the future. She would smile and sit backwards in the mud and rain while her white outfit would now receive the rain while the mud seeped into the dress. She didn't mind though and that was all she needed to perceive in her own mind.

Kaito listened on, as Katara would tell Jojo about where she was from and what it was like there. Kaito just nodded as he listened to here talk about her former village in such a tone that was just as though she hated the place. Katara then went on and asked if she could train with Kaito and Jojo and if she could go with use to the equipment shop. Kaito just smiled as she asked if she could come and saying that she hadn’t seen much of the village yet.

All the sudden though Katara looked down blushing muttering that the rest of the villagers look at her weird and that is why she hadn’t seen much of the village. Kaito would stand up now looking down at her as the sun would finally come out clearing up the sky and shining as if there was a bright new future ahead of them all. Kaito couldn’t believe that him and Jojo actually trained through the night it was mid-morning now.

As Kaito would stand Katara looked up and started to cry. All the sudden she would ask us why we were being so nice to her and why we didn’t hate her. She also told Kaito and Jojo that she had been to other villages, but it seemed they did not accept her and her sister. Kaito just shook his head and started to reply when Jojo came up and hugged her saying some very nice and personal things to her. Kaito couldn’t believe it himself how emotional and loving Jojo was being. Either way though Kaito new he needed to show her that people from the Leaf Village was different from most. Kaito knew that things were getting tense between villages and that conflict was coming up.

Jojo would say to Katara some words filled with emotion and truth letting Katara know that she didn’t care why she came here or what reasons might have been come only with her sister. Just that the past was the past and that it was her own. Kaito would smile at what she said to Katara knowing now was a good time for him to say something as well.

Kaito would take off his jacket lean down and wrap Katara up in it saying to her as he did, “No worries about where you came from or why. You were invited into this place that you can now call your home.” Kaito would stand up looking at Katara smiling even more now. “Even if people may look at you weird it is not because you are bad or anything its just because you are different.” Kaito would say as he held his hand openly gesturing to her that it was time to get up and start our day together. “Besides different can be a great thing look at Jojo here she is different, but in her differences there is beauty just like you.” Kaito just smirked as he finished his sentence being such a charmer, which he was so known for. Kaito would just wait there for Katara and Jojo to get up and get on our way so that they could get on there way to the equipment shop and maybe even stop of at a shop to get an early breakfast and talk for a bit.

Drinking in the words of Kaito and Jojo, Katara's tears dry up. She doesn't understand yet, but she feels as if she has finally found the place where she belongs. The hugs from Jojo had made her feel warm inside, and she felt.....loved. For the first time ever, she felt loved. "Thank-you for the kind words, and the sympathy. I truly love it here." Katara looks around, at Kaito, at Jojo, the trees the sky. "It is just so nice, and peaceful" Suddenly she gives Kaito a hug. Pulling back quickly, Katara blushes like mad, looking down at the ground. Looking up again, Katara asks, "So, when are, uh, we going into town?" She wasn't sure why, but she found being in the presence of these two fellow shinobi. And they called her a LEAF shinobi! She smiles to herself and thinks 'I'm home. I'm finally home."

Jojo would happily smile as she heard the small bit of charm within the flirting voice of Kaito. He seemed young for it yet she would still smile at it. When she was used as an example for Kaito's reflection of beauty she was surprised and blushed at such a thing. She only giggled as she would pop her neck and continue on such antics. She appraised such diligence of the great way words were used. She was glad the tears were dried away as she would happily pop her neck and with another cough she would stand back up as she would sigh lightly. The weight of the training hit her harder than normal. Jojo would then look at the blush as she thought to herself, “Someone might be in love.” Since it was to herself no one heard or nor could anyone tell what she was thinking as she merely giggled at the thought as she would continue on the path of different thought processes.

She would keep to herself in natural order as she would then pop her neck as she walked over to the main place as she would keep to herself while steadily standing up. Damn the disease was getting to her she would tremble once but steadily work her way to the best of work. She would look at Kaito and ask with a calm question about her, “So when do you plan we go to the equipment shop?” Casual question while at the same time it was to the best of processes. She personally had a couple things to get from there while also in need of food later on no doubt. She would steadily keep her mind active though with twirling patterns as she looked at the Katara, “Katara, you are always going to feel welcome here in the Leaf village. I will even welcome you along with Kaito here presence in the Hanakora gardens if you so wish. The place normally doesn’t get visitors outside the family so if you ever need a place to talk or be at peace just come by there.” She made the offer and let it stand elegantly.

Kaito continued to smile at Jojo and Katara as he saw Katara’s tears dry up with the new morning sun. Katara would thank us for what Kaito and Jojo said to her, as she would look at both of them and the area around her. All the sudden after saying how nice it was here Katara hopped on up hugged Kaito out of the blue. Kaito just smiled from her reaction as she quickly let go pulling away blushing a bright red once again. Katara looking at the ground once again for a moment and then looking back up asking when Kaito and Jojo would be going back to town. Kaito would nod, as Jojo would ask the same question as well. Kaito would look at both of them and say, “Well let’s go on ahead and get going.” With a smiles and lightly touching Katara’s shoulder Kaito would wink at her charmingly letting her know to follow. With out another thought Kaito would head on out to the equipment shop ready for both of them to follow.

[Exit Post]

Seeing the smiles on Kaito and Jojo's faces, Katara's heart, leaps with excitement. She was going to see the village, with this incredibly cute boy. 'Hmmmm.... I wonder if he thinks I'm pretty?' Katara thinks to herself, with a sudden blush on her face. Standing there, with Kaito and Jojo, she felt at peace. When Kaito nodded for them to follow, Katara was so happy. "So, I guess I really am home after all" Katara mutters to herself. Keeping the pace with them she follows the two in front of her, heading towards the village, to the Equipment shop. to home.

[Exit Post]

The sight of the two of them truly was love in Jojo's eyes as she would giggle her way to heading out with everyone. She personally found such a venture to be truly helpful as she would traverse out and about. She gladly smiled in doing so as she would travel with the two as she would be heading out to the shop. It wasn't that much of an adventure but with the two of them then perhaps it would have it's venue of elegance about it. All apart of the plan in a way as she would follow after with an ease about her.

Kaito would be dragged into the forest deep back to where him and Jojo had been training before. It would appear though the place was finally dried up with the sun ever head shining over everything in the area. It was clear as day out side in the forest, even though they were extremely deep in the inner workings of the forest. Kaito was more interested when Katara was going to let him and Jojo go so that they could stop and actually get started doing some training for once. ‘At least this time around the ground is dry and hard. No more needing to use excess chakra to keep traction on the ground.’ Jaden had thought to himself.

[Entrance]

It was simple per say, the use of using one's own personal body to be dragged around like a high price rag doll. She saw no problems in this yet at the same time she didn't like how this was always ending up to being her trouble as she traversed through the area with an ease all to herself. With a calm calculation she would present herself in all happy bubbly esteem as she looked at this place. The place that she had trained with Kaito before still reminisced to her. It was a proper place, the best location for training too, "Hey Katara-chan. Do you mind letting go of my wrist, we're hear and all but your dragging me is causing my wrist to ache up." She smiled lightly as to dismiss the remark so it would not be taken the wrong way.

(Entry)

"Okay, sorry about that, I didn't realize I still was holding your wrist Jojo-Chan!"Katara apologized. Letting go of their wrists, Katara looks around, realizing finally that she had dragged both of them back to where she had first approached them, earlier that day. Taking a deep breath, she looks up, staring at the tree tops, and smiling. She can hear birds sing, and the breeze flutter around them. It was starting to warm up, the sun was drying up all the rain that had poured earlier. Finally looking down, Katara smiles at Jojo, and Kaito. "So, what first?"Katara asks, looking intensely at Kaito, for she wanted to show these two what she was made of, that she wasn't here for nothing. Standing with a slight nervous flutter in her stomach, she starts to dance around a little, trying to ease her nervousness.

-Entrance Post-

Kaito listened, as Jojo would simply ask for Katara to let go and in the process of that Katara would let go replying back to Jojo that she was sorry. Katara then turned and toward Kaito asking what we were going to do first. Kaito smiled, as Katara then would begin to dance around for no apparent reason. Kaito would smile and then say, “Well I will begin this training with a little spar between Katara and I. Jojo if you don’t mind please sit out for a moment while I test some of Katara’s skills.” With that Kaito begun to move away from Jojo and Katara spacing himself out ready to begin. Kaito glanced over at Katara signaling to her that he was ready to begin the spar. With a light sigh out of Kaito he would relax himself setting up a proper fighting stance waiting for Katara to get in front of him to test out her own skills.

(Katara you can go on ahead and post since Jojo will be busy for the next few days you will just spar with me for now until she gets back.)

'He wants to spar.......with me?'Katara thinks to herself, blushing a little. "I hope you aren't expecting much from me.' She says, a little embarrassed. But all the same, she looks at Kaito, Katara nods at him, and begins her battle stance. One arm in front, holding a kunai, protecting hre chest, while the other is at the side, ready to grab shuriken if needed. Taking deep breaths, she closes her eyes really quickly, and then opens them. Slowly, she begins to walk in a circle, keeping her eyes glued to Kaitos'.

Kaito watched, as Katara would begin to set her stance preparing herself, as she would pull out a kunai. Katara would then ready the kunai close to her chest ready for any on going attack and with her other arm she held at her side. Kaito was familiar with this kind of stance; it was a basic ready stance for defense or attack as needed for the situation. Kaito would loosen up a bit taken in a slight breath as he pressed his feet firmly to the ground. Kaito was preparing for him to start a charge to see how Katara would react to such a thing. So with a quick burst of speed moving at a decent speed not quite his full speed, but nothing slow when judging a Genin. With dust flying behind Kaito moved into the direction of Katara, as she would circle around the area.

As Kaito sprinted off towards Katara he would lightly grip his Ninjato resting on his back hip, unlocking it from its sheath so that it would be easily drawn for use if need too. Kaito continued with his current speed towards Katara ready for what she might do next closing in on her fast with only ten meters in between them now. Kaito wasn’t sure how skilled she was quite yet, but new that she was a genin and had to be at least near the same level has him and Jojo was.

Smiling at Kaito, she keeps circling around him. As she watches, Kaito moves with much speed. Soon, he heads straight towards her, loosening his weapon. She waits until the right moment, and then, as he almost collides with her, she flips over him, her feet landing on his shoulders for a few seconds, and then kicks off, pushing him, using the momentum to gain distance, four meters away. She lands on her hands and feet, reaches for shuriken, and throws two of them swiftly. Breathing in a steady rhythm, she waits for the reaction. "You're fast", she says while she watches him.

As Kaito came into a close enough range to basically plow right into Katara, she moved at a similar pass as Kaito’s dodging him completely in the process. How she did this was by timing his speed just right to jump up flipping right over him flying through the air to evade Kaito. So as she basically matched his speed she would land her feet right on his shoulder for a brief moment just so she could use them to kick off in the opposite direction.

Using her own momentum she would have launched herself away from Kaito. As she did this Kaito watched it all losing balance for a moment as he quickly stopped himself and slid making a one eighty turn so that he was facing Katara one again.

As Kaito looked on he watched as Katara would land about four meters from him. She landed on her hands and feet kicking up dust as she did and as she would look up she quickly reached for something.

As she reached Kaito knew he would need to act quickly so he would grip his sword starting to draw it from its sheath moving at the same speed he was before.

While he did this Katara threw two shurikens at him with a swift and agile movement. Kaito was very intrigued and could tell this girl was smarter than the average genin. With that the shurikens moved at a quickened pace.

Kaito quickly jumped back into the air as he flipped backwards letting the first shuriken fly over him, as it would appear him doing a twisted back bend almost, but with him in mid air. As he would land one hand on the ground to brace himself he would continue his flip over doing a one handed handstand the second shuriken would come into range to hit him. With his Ninjato fully drawn now Kaito would flip it around in mere moments bracing it with his arm blocking the shuriken in mid air perfectly. With a quick twist Kaito would push off with his hand pushing him back up on to his feet.

Kaito was impressed with how well Katara was doing and was glad he decided to spar with her first. Kaito would look on at Katara facing her still as she would say to him that he was fast. Kaito just smiled with that said re sheathing his Ninjato saying back to her, “Well your pretty fast yourself, but I am just getting started.” With that said Kaito would sprint off once again still moving at the speed he was before. With Katara so close it would only take a moment for Kaito to reach her so with that he would begin his first barrage of attacks.

First Kaito would attack with a basic sliding kick trying to sweep her off her feet and not even having a first date either. Once that happens he would use his own spinning motion to swiftly move into another hit like an ice skater moving from a downward twirl back up he would intend to strike with a side kick either aiming to hit her while in mid air from being knocked off her feet or just into her side. If hit or blocked he will continue with his attacks by finally going for a basic strike by swinging his arm around with a spinning motion once again, but aiming to strike her on her opposite side. The strike should move towards her shoulder area or possibly her side depending on if she was still falling from the leg sweep he did earlier.

Once all his strikes were finished Kaito would jolt backwards with a swift motion to make sure there was distance between him and Katara ready to take on anything she might have planned.

Landing nimbly on her feet, Katara lets out a small grunt of air. Hearing the compliment from Kaito made her feel alive, and as she watches, she sees Kaito coming at her, faster than before. Soon, he is in front of her, and he quickly knocks her down with a sliding kick. As she falls she is hit in the side, as Kaito flings his arm out. He jumps back as she falls on the ground, holding her side, breathing hard. Looking up, she grins at him, and gets back on her feet. Still grinning, she looks around, looking for a distraction.
As if in a dance, Katara twirls around Kaito, grabs a branch from a tree, and jumps up on to it. Looking down at Kaito, she says, "Catch me if you can!" Grinning, she leaps from branch to branch, making sure Kaito was keeping up.
(She is moving at the same speed as before, no speed changes)

Kaito would just grin and smile as he would sprint off after her, but not at his full speed knowing that if he keep up such speeds he would just tire himself out. Instead Kaito slowed his pace and began moving at a speed that would be no longer draining on him so he could continue on. Kaito was not quite as strong as he would hope to be and knew that he needed quite a bit more training to get to where he wanted to be.

Kaito would continue to smile as he watched Katara look back seeing if he was keeping up. Kaito knew that she must be starting to wear down and would need to slow down sooner or later; so he would just keep up this pace knowing that he would be able to keep up later on if he needed too. With that Kaito ran off after at an easy pace for him continuing to follow to see what she might do next.

Coming to a standstill, she stops jumping from tree to tree. Only for a moment though. After a few seconds, she bends her knees, and jumps backward, up and over Kaito, landing nimbly behind him. Smiling, and blushing a little bit, she wraps her arms around his waist, giving him a tight hug. But this wasn't for nothing. Taking a moment, she slips her hand into his shuriken holster, grabbing two of them. Then, after whispering, "Thanks!" into his ear she jumps back, a sly grin growing on her face. She then jumps down to the ground, grunting slightly as her leg muscles take the shock from the impact. Breathing deeply she looks up, grinning at Kaito.

"What do you think?" She calls up to him, hoping she impressed him, at least a little.
